SAN PEDRO CHURCH
The church of San Pedro suffered a tremendous fire in 1512 almost completely destroying the building, saving only the front of the church in Gothic style.
It was rebuilt in 1577 thanks to the patronage of the House of Alba, by Don Fadrique Álvarez de Toledo, II Duke of Alba, reason why you can see on the facade two of the ducal coats of arms.
The interior is composed of a living room floor with three naves and rectangular presbytery, staircase to the choir and under choir covered with Gothic style cross vaults.
It preserves the carving of the Holy Christ of Health or Christ of Saint Jerome, crucified, with characteristics of the German and Flemish sculpture of the late s. XV and early s. XVI
